Biography
Doctor Susan Myshka is a chiropractic hand and foot doctor who focuses on treating and correcting a myriad of foot conditions and ailments. Her chiropractic practice for hands, feet and other body areas is located in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Do you suffer with foot problems such as plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, arch pain, toe pain, top of foot pain or just basic foot pain? There are many activities that can cause stress to the feet leading to foot pain and dysfunction. One of the most common sources of these problems is from the misalignment of one or more of the 26 foot bones. These are also known as the tarsal bones. When the foot bones lose their natural alignment, it can lead to great stress on the muscles and ligaments that connect the bones of the feet together. This stress will eventually cause chronic foot pain, foot numbness or other foot problems.
In addition to treating the feet, Dr. Susan Myshka also focuses on the hands as well as other areas of the body. The hands may become problematic when they have been engaged in some repetitive use or physical labor for an extended period of time. When hand problems present, it often starts as a subtle soreness in the palms of the hands or a numbness sensation in the fingers. You may also develop wrist pain, thumb pain, hand pain or pain in the fingers. These symptoms are commonly due to misalignment of the tiny hand and wrist bones. Just like in our feet, when these bones are not aligned properly it pinches and irritates nearby nerves, ligaments and tendons. Dr. Myshka uses gentle chiropractic adjustments to the hands and wrists to alleviate stress and tension which will improve your hand condition.
