Doctor Mitchell Shea is a chiropractic hand and foot doctor who focuses on treating and correcting a myriad of foot conditions and ailments. The hands may become problematic when they have been engaged in some repetitive use or physical labor for an extended period of time. When hand problems present, it often starts as a subtle soreness in the palms of the hands or a numbness sensation in the fingers. You may also develop wrist pain, thumb pain, hand pain or pain in the fingers. These symptoms are commonly due to misalignment of the tiny hand and wrist bones. Just like in our feet, when these bones are not aligned properly it pinches and irritates nearby nerves, ligaments and tendons.
